Please email the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners and ask them to say no to relocating a Longmont Prairie dog colony to Rocky Flats. At several Rocky Flats Stewardship Council meetings, the DOE contracted worker in charge of the environment has reported that the prairie dogs are not thriving at Rocky Flats. Not only would the relocation be harmful to the prairie dogs themselves, but the prairie dogs would almost certainly spread contamination around the site and offsite. http://jeffco.us/bcc/contact/
